New line delivers for Tar Heels Women's Soccer
Posted Nov 10, 2008
The Tar Heels did it again, and they did it with their new line. North Carolina, trying to find the chemistry it will need in the playoffs when it will lose two main contributors, scored early on Virginia Tech en route to a 3-0 win Sunday for the ACC women's soccer championship at WakeMed Soccer Park. The Heels got goals from forwards Jessica McDonald, Casey Nogueira and Courtney Jones for their fourth straight ACC championship and their 19th in 21 years.
