CFP highlights: Washington holds on to defeat Texas; Michigan beats Alabama in OT


Fans were treated to a pair of outstanding semifinal matchups as both games came down to the wire. In the first CFP semifinal, J.J. McCarthy threw for 221 yards and three touchdowns, and Blake Corum added 83 yards on the ground and the game-winning touchdown run in overtime to lead the Michigan Wolverines to a memorable 27-20 win over Alabama.
