Chapel Hill's Linda's Bar & Grill enters its final days after nearly 50 years: 'Breaks my heart'


Linda's Bar and Grill is closing its doors on Jan. 5 after nearly 50 years in business on Franklin Street in downtown Chapel Hill. "breaks my heart," owner Christopher Carini said. Despite making a profit in 2023, the restaurant took on a lot of debt during the COVID-19 crisis, combined with people not going out as much anymore, according to Carini. (WTVD)
