UNC Softball Run-Rules Rider, 8-0, In Five Innings

UNC Softball (14-2) earned its eighth run-rule victory of the season Friday, shutting out Rider, 8-0, in five innings. Freshman Nikki Harris pitched another gem, tossing five scoreless innings, allowing just one hit and one walk with eight strikeouts. In her last three appearances, she has allowed just one earned run in eighteen innings with 26 strikeouts. (GoHeels.com)
