UNC Softball Clinches Virginia Series With Doubleheader Sweep


The North Carolina softball team (19-4, 2-1 ACC) clinched its first ACC series of the season with a doubleheader sweep of Virginia (15-7, 3-3 ACC) on Sunday afternoon. The Tar Heel pitching staff locked down the Cavaliers in the pitcher's circle, allowing two runs, just one earned, and five hits in 14 innings of play.
