UNC Softball Opens Weekend With 9-3 Victory Over Georgia Tech

The North Carolina softball team (21-7, 3-4 ACC) opened the weekend with a 9-3 victory over Georgia Tech on Friday at Anderson Stadium. The Tar Heels out-hit the Yellow Jackets 11-5, the sixteenth time Carolina has tallied double-digit hits in a game this season. Junior Alex Coleman went 3-of-4 at the plate, her seventh game with three or more hits.
