Three Tar Heel Women's Soccer Players Named Hermann Trophy Semifinalists

Three Olympic gold medalists and a past winner highlight the 15 players who have been named semifinalists for the women's 2008 Missouri Athletic Club Hermann Trophy. The list of 15 semifinalists include a trio of Tar Heel standouts who are headed for next weekend's College Cup in Cary, N.C. Senior midfielder Yael Averbuch, the third-place finisher in 2006, is joined by junior forward Casey Nogueira and junior midfielder Tobin Heath as semifinalists.
