30 years later, UNC women's basketball great Charlotte Smith's iconic shot lives on


Wednesday marks the 30th anniversary of 's last-second shot lifting UNC to a 60-59 win over Louisiana Tech and the 1994 NCAA title. "It doesn’t feel like 30 years," Smith said. "Around time (of the NCAA Women’s Final Four) I’m constantly running into people who remember it and relive it, and it’s as if the moment will never die." (Shelby Star)
