UNC Officials Seek Best Path Forward for Athletics Amid Internal Tension


After a week of drama during the UNC Board of Trustees meetings, clear dividing lines emerged as university officials find themselves at odds in determining the best path forward for UNC athletics. The board voted Monday to approve a $134.97 million budget for the athletics budgets in 2024-25 as well as an audit of the athletic department’s financials. (Inside Carolina)
