Virginia baseball found itself between a rock and a hard place in the bottom of the ninth inning of its College World Series opener vs. North Carolina. Namely, Vance Honeycutt and Casey Cook. The bottom of the ninth opened with UVA and UNC baseball in a 2-2 deadlock. The Tar Heels' Jackson Van De Brake opened the inninghitting a double.
