In the aftermath of his show-stopping heroics Friday — a walk-off RBI that helped the Tar Heels escape a 3-2 thriller over Virginia — UNC centerfielder Vance Honeycutt was shocked to learn he and dad, Bobby, became the 15th father-son duo to play in the College World Series. "I didn’t know that. That number isn’t very big, either. That’s cool."
