Vance Honeycutt’s Star Shines One Last Time for UNC on CWS Stage


UNC didn't accomplish its goal in Omaha, but it wasn't because center fielder 's star power didn't shine on college baseball's biggest stage. He belted two home runs and supplied five RBI across three CWS games. And in the opener, his two-out liner in the bottom of the ninth inning lifted the Tar Heels to a walk-off victory against Virginia. (Inside Carolina)
