Video: CWS 2024 - Longtime volunteer, UNC fan JR Anton remembered at Omaha Baseball Village
Posted Jun 24, 2024
Nebraska resident JR Anton was a diehard North Carolina Tar Heels fan with Hunter syndrome, a rare genetic disorder. Anton's love for UNC baseball dated back to the early 2000s, when he and his family went to Chapel Hill for a study on Hunter syndrome. He passed away this year. His memory was honored at a ceremony at Omaha Baseball Village.
