Casey Cook signs with Texas Rangers


Former UNC outfielder , who was selected by the Texas Rangers in the third round of the 2024 MLB Draft, has agreed to terms on his first professional contract. Cook signed for $700K, which is approximately $10K under the draft slot value. This past season, Cook earned First-Team All-ACC honors and led the Tar Heels in hits (88) and RBI (78).
