Romea Riccardo Returning To UNC As Assistant Field Hockey Coach


A familiar face will return to the UNC field hockey sidelines this fall, but in a new role. Five-time NCAA Champion Romea Riccardo, who graduated in December, is joining the Tar Heel staff as an assistant coach, head coach announced Friday. Riccardo was a team captain as a senior in 2023, when she tied for second on the team with eight assists. (GoHeels.com)
