UNC Baseball Transfer Macaddin Dye Provides Needed Depth at Catcher

Last year, freshman standout Luke Stevenson started 63 of 64 games for UNC behind the plate without much of a respite. Heading into 2025, coach Scott Forbes and staff have bolstered the roster with the addition of Macaddin Dye, a switch-hitting transfer catcher from Liberty. "He's a tough kid [and] he's a catcher," Forbes said. "But he can hit, too."
