In front of a crowd comprised of some of UNC Women's Basketball's youngest fans – about 1,800 local students on "field trip day" – the 2024-25 season tipped off for the Tar Heels on Monday morning with an 83-53 victory over Charleston Southern. And with the season now underway, it also means the return of this column, Carmichael Comments.
