Florida State announces hiring of Gus Malzahn as offensive coordinator

UCF Knights head coach Gus Malzahn has resigned from his position to take over playcalling duties as Florida State’s new offensive coordinator. Malzahn, who previously served as Auburn’s head coach, where he lost in the 2013 BCS National Championship to the Seminoles, has spent the last four seasons at UCF, where he’s gone 28-24.
