Remembering St. John's legend Lou Carnesecca


While Lou Carnesecca never played basketball for St. John's varsity, he did play baseball for the legendary , who coached both the baseball and basketball teams. Carnesecca was part of the 1949 St. John’s team that reached the College World Series. While still a student, Carnesecca filled in as coach of the freshman baseball team. (New York Post)
