App State hires South Carolina offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains as new head football coach


South Carolina Offensive Coordinator/Quarterbacks Coach Dowell Loggains has been hired as the new head football coach at Appalachian State University. Loggains is in his second season as the Gamecocks’ offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. The Gamecocks finished the regular season 9-3. (Watauga Democrat)
