UNC's Alecia Nicholas, Now Cancer-Free, Wins USA Lacrosse ‘Best Of Lax 2024’ Award


UNC women's lacrosse player Alecia Nicholas has won 'Best Comeback Story' by USA Lacrosse's 'Best of Lacrosse 2024.' Nicholas received a cancer diagnosis in Fall 2023 and immediately underwent treatment. She was determined to play the 2024 season – and she did. She appeared in every game, starting 16 of them, and had six 6+ save performances. (GoHeels.com)
