No. 8 UNC Men's Lacrosse Starts 1-0 In ACC Play, Defeats Virginia, 18-9

The No. 8 UNC men's lacrosse team (8-2, 1-0) defeated Virginia (5-6, 0-2 ACC) 18-9, in the ACC opener for the Tar Heels (Highlights). Dominic Pietramala (four goals) and Owen Duffy (three goals, two assists) led the Tar Heel offense Saturday. Nine different Tar Heels hit the back of the net. It was UNC's first win over the Cavaliers in Chapel Hill since 2016. (GoHeels.com)
