Erlana Larkins taken in first round of WNBA Draft


waited 22 years to fulfill her dream of becoming a professional basketball player. It happened Wednesday when the New York Liberty took Larkins with the 14th and last pick of the first round of the WNBA Draft. But it's been a hectic couple of weeks, with NCAA Tournament games, draft appearances and All-America events to attend. So the celebration can wait at least one more day, after her return to Chapel Hill, N.C. (Palm Beach Post)
