UNC plays scrimmage at Ashley to give lacrosse a local boost

A light rain Saturday afternoon did little to slow the lacrosse action for the UNC Tar Heels’ Blue-White intrasquad match at Ashley High School. And the conditions did not seem to dampen the appreciation of the drizzle-covered fans in attendance. For the Tar Heels and coach Joe Breschi, the goal of the event was two-fold; to prepare for the upcoming season and to further promote the sport to young players.
