Rashanda McCants Likely Suffered Concussion Monday
Posted Mar 26, 2009
UNC women's basketball forward Rashanda McCants likely suffered a concussion in Monday's NCAA Tournament loss to Purdue, head coach Sylvia Hatchell said. "Obviously Rashanda didn't have the kind of performance against Purdue that we have come to expect from her over her outstanding career. If she was suffering from even a mild concussion, that certainly would have affected her ability to perform at the high level she's used to."
