Paths finally cross for North Carolina and LSU

Erlana Larkins laughed with teammates about North Carolina being placed in the same region with LSU. The teams hadn't crossed paths in 21 years, and, besides, the Lady Tigers — who went undefeated in the SEC regular season — were likely to get a No. 1 seed, too. It didn't happen. Now the joke is on the No. 1 Tar Heels, who must face the No. 2 Lady Tigers just an hour's drive removed from their Baton Rouge campus.
