Donavan Tate undecided on future
Posted Jun 11, 2009
Class of 2009 ESPNU 150 athlete Donavan Tate, who signed with North Carolina in February, was selected by the San Diego Padres with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2009 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft. Tate, who intended to play both football and baseball with the Tar Heels, told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that he's undecided on his future, "I don't know what I am going to do. I haven't thought about that. I guess at a certain time I'll have to make the call and decide what I'll do then, but there is no guarantee at this moment."
