Breaking down the CWS teams
Posted Jun 11, 2009
North Carolina definitely is one of the favorites to win the national title. The Tar Heels have two excellent weekend starters in Alex White and Adam Warren. Matt Harvey, who didn’t have to pitch against East Carolina last weekend, also has the ability to be dominant. The Tar Heels also have a solid bullpen with Moran and Bates leading the way. The Tar Heels don’t have a great offense but Ackley and Seager do a fantastic job of producing runs. Balance is the name of the game for UNC.
