The celebration was in full flight after UNC finished off ECU in the NCAA baseball super regional at Boshamer Stadium. The Tar Heels had won a fourth consecutive trip to the College World Series. The UNC players were playfully hopping on top of each other, the dogpile growing larger. But not Alex White. He stood aside. “There’s a reason I didn’t jump in the dogpile,” the junior pitcher said. “I only want to do it once this year.”
