Long before Tonya Sampson was a college basketball star, she was playing football with the boys on the grassy fields of Royal Lane Park in Clinton.An all-American on the UNC Tar Heels' 1994 NCAA championship basketball team, Sampson is now playing her first full season for the Carolina Queens women's professional football team.
