Nikki Teasley Is Released By Mystics
Posted Mar 26, 2008
The Washington Mystics released point guard Nikki Teasley yesterday, ending her two-season stint with the team. Both sides came to a mutual agreement on a financial settlement after several weeks of negotiations, Mystics General Manager Linda Hargrove said. Teasley averaged 5.2 points and 3.3 assists last season. Hargrove added that Teasley's recent revelation that she was pregnant was not related to the release.
