Dustin Ackley ready to take next step with Mariners

Summer vacation has almost ended for a well-rested Dustin Ackley. Nearly 13 hours after reaching agreement on a five-year Major League contract that will pay him at least $7.5 million and possibly $9.5 million, depending on when he reaches the big leagues, the 23-year-old discussed the emotions he experienced leading up to Monday night's signing deadline.
