Baseball Signee Profile: Jacob Stallings
Posted Feb 29, 2008
Thanks in part to several Tar Heel connections, Jacob Stallings will head to Chapel Hill this fall. The decision wasn’t an easy one. His father, Kevin Stallings, is in his ninth year as head hoops coach of the Vanderbilt Commodores. But his father has ties to UNC as well, as a former assistant to Roy Williams at Kansas. Additionally, two of the elder Stallings’ assistant coaches are former Tar Heels -- King Rice and Brad Frederick.
