A two-out Adam Kolarek home run in the tenth inning propelled Maryland over No. 22 North Carolina 6-5 Friday night at Shipley Field. Colin Bates suffers the tough loss, after pitching 1.2 innings of relief and striking out three. The Tar Heels were led by Jacob Stallings' career-best three hits as they fall to 18-10 overall and 2-8 in league play. The Terrapins improve to 12-15 and 3-7 in league play.
