Nutrisystem sacks ex-UNC star Lawrence Taylor

Weight-loss company Nutrisystem has fired former University of North Carolina football star Lawrence Taylor as a spokesman for the brand. Nutrisystem said Friday that it was cutting ties with Taylor, who was arrested Thursday and charged with raping a 16-year-old girl. Taylor was an All-America defensive end at North Carolina who went on to achieve legendary status as a linebacker with the New York Giants.
