ACC Baseball Weekly Update, May 11

North Carolina swept Wake Forest to gain valuable ground for the eighth and final spot in the ACC race; only the top eight qualify for the ACC Tournament. Carolina’s wins were 18-5, 7-2 and 8-4. Matt Harvey got an easy victory Friday to go 6-2, while infielder Dillon Hazlett drove in six runs. Carolina broke a 2-2 tie Saturday with four runs in the seventh. Wake committed four errors, leading to four unearned runs.
