Dustin Ackley promoted to AAA Tacoma

Dustin Ackley, the Mariners' first-round pick (No. 2 overall) in the 2009 draft, has been promoted from Double-A West Tenn to Triple-A Tacoma, the Mariners announced Wednesday. Ackley, 22, got off to a slow start this season, but has batted .305 in his past 54 games. He was hitting .263 with 28 RBIs, two home runs and 42 runs in 82 games with West Tenn.
