Dustin Ackley's time may be coming soon in Seattle
Posted Jul 21, 2010
Seattle is a team doing some soul searching, and if the Mariners are honest, they will acknowledge that much of their future could reside in last year's first-round draft pick (No. 2 overall), Dustin Ackley. The future second sacker has excelled in his first season, debuting at Class-AA West Tennessee with .263-2-28 totals, including 21 doubles and a tremendous .389 OBP, fueled by 55 walks and just 41 strikeouts.
