Accustomed to blowout wins this season, the No. 14 North Carolina’s women’s basketball team certainly appeared headed there again when it opened a 20-point first-half lead on No. 18 Iowa Thursday. Italee Lucas scored a career-high 34 points, including two 3-pointers during a key second-half stretch, as UNC beat Iowa 79-67 at Carmichael Arena in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.
