Kent Emanuel goes the distance for Tar Heels

North Carolina freshman pitcher Kent Emanuel threw a complete game for an 8-1 baseball victory over Miami at Boshamer Stadium on Sunday. The effort prevented the Tar Heels from being swept for the second weekend in a row. The left-hander didn't let down coach Mike Fox, who had joked about pulling Emanuel after the eighth inning.
