Latta relishes UNC's honors
Posted Jan 6, 2008
Ivory Latta returned to North Carolina's Carmichael Auditorium to smile for the cameras one more time. In a ceremony at halftime of the Tar Heels' game against Georgia Tech, the bubbly and energetic former point guard was honored at halfcourt as a black covering was removed to show her No. 12 jersey hanging in the rafters. Latta is only the second women's basketball player in UNC history to have her jersey retired.
