Former Tar Heel Alex White to make MLB debut

Former Tar Heel All-America and 2009 first round draft pick Alex White will make his major league debut for the Cleveland Indians Saturday night at 6:05 p.m. against the Detroit Tigers. White will face right-hander Rick Porcello, who signed with the Tar Heels out of high school before opting for a major league contract with the Detroit Tigers.
