North Carolina senior LaToya Pringle knows from experience how the landscape for women's college basketball in the Triangle changes with the cold winds of January and the start of Atlantic Coast Conference play. Her team collected its third consecutive ACC championship last season, and the fourth-ranked Tar Heels are poised to make another run for the title this season. Still, the veteran forward knows the difficult road ahead.
