Jacob Stallings' father, Kevin, is the coach of Vanderbilt's men's basketball team, and the sixth-seeded Commodores' win Saturday advanced them to Omaha, shortly after the Tar Heels finished off the Cardinal for their bid. Now that Stallings and UNC are scheduled to face Vanderbilt on Saturday in the CWS' opening game (2 p.m., ESPN), any cheering for the Commodores has been muted.
