Matt Harvey Promoted to Double-A Binghamton Mets

The New York Mets have announced the promotion of 2010 draft picks RHP Matt Harvey and OF Matt den Dekker to the Binghamton Mets. Harvey was the seventh overall pick in last year's draft out of the University of North Carolinal. The Connecticut native went 22-7 with a 3.73 ERA in three seasons as a Tar Heel. Harvey averaged more than a strikeout per inning, fanning 263 batters in his time with UNC.
