Kyle Seager, boy share 'heart'felt story
Posted Jul 6, 2011
Before Kyle Seager was promoted to the Triple-A Tacoma Rainiers, the former Jackson Generals second baseman had a heart-to-heart talk with William Witherspoon. Witherspoon, who will be a seventh-grader at Rose Hill Middle School this fall, was diagnosed with a form of congenital heart disease — ventricular septal defect (VSD) — when he was six weeks old. "I had the same surgery," Seager said.
