But while I acknowledge there will be some fallout at UNC for firing the head football coach just days before the start of preseason practice, there won't be a total collapse as some are imagining. Whatever you believe or don't believe about Butch Davis, he was a consummate recruiter who has significantly upgraded the talent and depth on UNC's roster.
