Twins sign first-round pick Levi Michael

Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN - The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have signed their first round pick from the 2011 First-Year Player Draft, infielder Levi Michael. Michael played shortstop for the University of North Carolina, where he batted .289 (70-for-242) with 14 doubles, three triples, five home runs and 48 rbi in 65 games for the Tar Heels.
