Pitching Dominates Tuesday Afternoon's Scrimmage
Posted Oct 4, 2011
Dominant pitching was the theme of Tuesday afternoon's scrimmage as Navy and Blue fought to a 0-0 tie in a contest that lasted eight and one-half innings. Tate Parrish and Chris O'Brien threw for Navy while Hobbs Johnson and George Carter were on the mound for Blue. Navy held a four to two edge in hits, with Blue committing the only error of the game on a failed pick-off attempt in the eighth inning.
