Posted Nov 30, 2007
Purdue was supposed to give North Carolina a tough game before the No. 4 Tar Heels travel to No. 1 Tennessee. Instead, the Tar Heels blew out the Boilermakers 90-72, adding another win for the conference in the ACC-Big Ten Women's Basketball Challenge. Four of Carolina's five starters scored in double figures, led by Rashanda McCants, who poured in a career-high 28 points.
